Camp Verde, Sedona Arizona

We have had such beautiful weather that we are taking advantage of a little side trip on our way to the Grand Canyon.  We are staying in Camp Verde (casino camping is awesome!) and making day trips to Sedona to see the beautiful Red Rocks, the copper mine (Douglas Mansion) in Jerome Az, Montezuma's Castle (National Park, cliff dwellings, and Montezuma's Well.  In between we are sneaking in a little gambling!

The pictures speak for themselves and as we have said on other occasions, this is a gorgeous landscape.  Although the days are very warm, 70's the nights are quite cool, upper 30's.  We are scheduled to visit the Grand Canyon next Tuesday (of course we aren't going anywhere until after the Daytona 500!!!), and we anticipate some cold weather and possible snow.  Of course no snow could even come close to what our breathren in New England are experiencing.
